What will you learn?

Your instructor will teach you about dive equipment, the science of diving, responsible diving practices and the environment. You will also learn many skills in the water with practice time for your safety and comfort; and complete your training with a minimum of five open water dives.

How do you get started?

As long as you are 10 years or older and in good physical condition, you can enroll in a NAUI Scuba Diver course.  Sign up for your class, grab your bathing suit and get ready to have FUN!

How long does the course take to complete?  How many sessions?

Course entails 12 hours lecture, 12 hours of confined water work (pool) and 2 days open water checkout dives.  Classes in Metro Manila break these down to four lectures (3 hours each), four pool sessions and 2 days checkout at Anilao Batangas.  Resort openwater courses are also on offer, it takes 4 days to complete (in Anilao).  Scheduling and locations are flexible.

Sometimes it is necessary to extend the course because of learning difficulties or weather issues. In the rare occasion that this happens, you can come back, free of charge, and join in another open water class to finish your training. We will also mentor you for any extra days you may need to get you properly certified. It is our mission to make you a safe and competent diver.

Where are classes in Metro Manila conducted?

Where do we stay for the open water check out dives?

Overnight check out dives or 4 day certification courses are staged from Bambu Villa Resort, in Anilao  They are ideally situated (Map), have complete scuba facility and their prices are competitive.  Depending on weather conditions an alternate option is Sea's Spring Resort. Students may request for a venue change though the new location should have facilities for the proper conduct of the dives, such as tanks, weights and boat.

Do I need to buy basic gear?   Are there required scuba equipment?

Complete scuba gear will be provided by us for the duration of the course.  The student may buy personal equipment if they choose to do so.  Though it is advisable to delay such purchases until after the first lecture on scuba equipment, so they can make better and more informed buying decisions.
