NAUI Intro to Tech Training
The NAUI Introduction to Technical Diving course prepares the Advanced/EANx diver to the rigors and discipline of technical training. It focuses on key areas which will greatly benefit the student in all his recreational dives and instills the skills foundation for further technical diver education:
- Buoyancy and trim
- Non-silting propulsion
- Air sharing procedures
- Valve drills
- Proper ascents and SMB deployment
- Decompression theory
- Equipment configuration
Requisites:
| Minimum age: | 18 |
| Minimum certification: | Advanced and EANx Diver, with proof of 50 logged dives with 10 dives on Nitrox |
| Duration: | 4 days full time or about 2 weeks part time. Comprising lectures, land and pool drills and openwater dives |
| Class Size: | 2-4 students |
| Open water dives: | 6 dives |
| Course Fee: | Php 20,000 per student |
| Equipment Included: | Student will to provided access to an oxygen analyzer |
| Materials included: | Manual, registration, c-card |
| Equipment required by student: | Full Equipment (manifolded twins are suggested but not mandatory) with a 2m hose on the primary second stage, stainless steel backplate and wing, line cutting device, computer and/or depth and timing device, compass, wetnotes, reel/spool and SMB. Thermal protection (wetsuit). Rubber paddle fins (Scubapro Jetfin with spring straps recommended). Low volume mask |
